Teaching method:

The pre-primary curriculum at SNSVM is designed to provide young children with a strong foundation in the skills and knowledge they will need to succeed in their later years of schooling.

The curriculum is designed to be engaging and age-appropriate, with a focus on hands-on learning and play-based activities. Teachers use a variety of teaching methods and resources, including songs, stories, games and creative activities to help children learn and have fun.

How we do it:

The curriculum is designed to provide young children with a positive and engaging learning experience that helps them develop the skills and knowledge they will need to succeed in their later years of schooling.

The curriculum is centred around play-based learning, which is an effective way to engage young children and help them learn through exploration and experimentation. Here at SNSVM Malsisar, we ensure that children learn by doing as it promotes practical hands-on learning experiences, often termed as instructional, learning while working. This approach is the opposite of traditional theoretical learning, placing the entire focus on real-life experience. Retention of information through this approach is for a very long duration resulting in the overall development of the students.

Primary

Primary school consists of grades I through V. In addition to its computer lab, the primary school has separate classrooms for art, dance and music. Educational and sightseeing trips are organised to promote values and life skills and to develop the personality of the child.

Teaching method:

During this phase of life, we encourage our junior-level students to seek knowledge through exploration and discovery. Activity rooms and play areas provide them with appropriate opportunities to engage in a variety of activities to learn, engage and develop intellectually.

Middle School

The middle school curriculum for students in grades 6-8 is designed to be challenging and engaging, with a focus on developing critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills. Teachers use audio-visual aids for interactive sessions.

Themes become more fragmented and more complex and require creative ways to implement the concepts. In line with CBSE standards, the school strictly follows a two-term assessment format for each student and aims to improve a child's performance at every stage by identifying learning disabilities in the initial stage itself.

Teaching methodology:

Teachers use a variety of teaching methods and resources, including technology, project-based learning and collaborative activities, to help students apply their learning and develop a love of lifelong learning.
